ClusterSetup

We've tested several cluster distributions on espresso and other mini-clusters. Here's how to set them up, how to run, tips, tricks, pitfalls ...

Our current production system is ROCKS 3.1 + biobrew described below as NewBioBrewClusterSetup, some of the documentation is the same as BioBrewClusterSetup. To further compicate matters, I'm already testing an upgrade to ROCKS + BioBrew? 3.3 (NewNewBioBrewClusterSetup).

• OscarClusterSetup - No longer used Oscar 2.3.2 and RedHat? 9.
• OpenMosixClusterSetup? - Raw OpenMosix? on RedHat? 9
• ClusterKnoppixSetup? - sweet, instant cluster.
• RocksClusterSetup? - Straight Rocks 3.0.0
• BioBrewClusterSetup - Old Rocks + Bioinformatics tools + Sun Grid Engine.
• NewBioBrewClusterSetup - Rocks 3.1 + biobrew roll
• NewNewBioBrewClusterSetup - ROCKS 3.3 + Biobrew 3.3 - testing on puya.
• NfsPerformanceTests - Tuning NFS on the cluster.
• MPIClusterErrors - Fixing MPI errors on espresso.
• MPIBlastHowto - Running mpiblast on espresso.
• RocksUserAdmininistration - Adding users on Rocks.

We should also have info on the EspressoClusterNodeHardware?, EspressoMaster? (barrista?), and DellPowerConnectSwitches.
