HPCf HelpDesk
The HPCf uses a helpdesk based on jitterbug, here's how to use it.
The HPCf has a helpdesk at http://helpdesk.hpcf.upr.edu/cgi-bin/helpdesk . Users can submit trouble tickets over the web or by email at mailto:help@hpcf.upr.edu .
Staff can access the helpdesk over an authenticated connection: http://helpdesk.hpcf.upr.edu/cgi-bin/helpdesk.private . Contact other staff members for the username and password to use.
Once logged in, select your user name from the drop down and proceed to incomming to select new tickets. When replying, watch the addresses, forwarded mails have the address wrong.
Jitterbug is a project by the Samba team. Homepage is http://samba.anu.edu.au/jitterbug/ . It works, but shows it's age. It would be nice to replace it (with roundup or a zope based tracker).
